(NewPressRelease.com)Harmans, MD, Feb 16, 2012: AIV Inc., a manufacturer of medical devices and replacement parts, announced they will continue to support Baxter’s InfusO.R. infusion pumps after the OEM’s official End-of Life deadline. Baxter will no longer offer service on this model after December 31, 2012. Replacement parts will be available only as long as current inventory lasts. AIV offers flat rate repair services, replacement cases and keypads for the InfusO.R. Additional replacement parts will be developed during 2012.

“We know that hospitals invest a lot of time and energy into outfitting their bedsides with infusion pumps. Our goal is to help them extend the life of their capital investments. We are proud to offer a cost savings to our customers as they continue to support these infusion pumps internally. We will provide this level of support even after the pump manufacturer discontinues support for their equipment. Our goal is to adapt to the changing demands of our market and help sustain the various infusion pumps in use today,” says Tim Malkus, Vice President of Marketing and New Product Development at AIV.
