Bramasol, a leader in consulting services for the SAP® Revenue Accounting and Reporting application, today announced that it has taken on coaching roles at key clients throughout the U.S. As a partner in co-innovation and key participant in the SAP Ramp-Up program for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting, Bramasol is working with the Professional Services organization at SAP as the ramp-up coach on key accounts across the US.
With the need to comply with both existing and updated standards for revenue recognition, companies are preparing to ensure that their business processes and infrastructure can be productive and compliant. SAP and Bramasol are collaborating to support key customers as they tackle their current and future revenue recognition challenges using SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting.
In May 2014, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued the new International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS 15 / ASU 2014-09, ASC 606), which specifies the accounting guidance for revenue recognition. The new standard becomes effective January 1, 2017 in countries adhering to U.S. GAAP and to IFRS. It will impact companies in every industry in countries around the world.
“Bramasol has a long history of working closely with SAP on the latest innovations, including cloud computing and SAP HANA. This is just another way we do that,” said Dave Fellers, CEO of Bramasol. “We are excited to partner so closely with SAP, and expect to bring tremendous value and thought leadership to our clients in the area of revenue recognition. The SAP Ramp-Up program is a great way for our clients to get ahead of the curve.”
